Johnson Engineering is Hiring a CAD Drafter Near Fort Myers, FL
Job Summary: Assists engineering staff in application of principals, methods, and techniques of civil engineering technology.
Essential Duties:
- Develop plan drawings using later version AutoCAD software under the direction of professional staff.
- Make revisions and obtain approval from project manager(s).
- Maintain a database of drawings.
- Prepare supporting documentation.
- Distribute drawings to internal project managers.
- Requires effective communication with fellow team members and clients.
Qualifications:
- Associates degree from an accredited vocation/technical school in AutoCAD desired or equivalent job experience.
- Deadline-oriented mindset and attention to detail.
- Must be able to sit or stand at a computer monitor for long periods of time and be able to distinguish shapes and colors.
- Excellent driving record and a valid Florida driver's license is required.
